Before you leave home

Check the weather for Cummington, not only your hometown. Fairgrounds paths mix grass, gravel, and bark mulch, so closed-toe shoes beat sandals on most weekends. Saturday pacing

Family-friendly programming runs from late morning through the evening. If you want jousting, comedy stages, and shopping at the Market of the Moons without rushing, plan at least two full circuits of the grounds. After 7 p.m. the site shifts to the adults-only Market After Dark. Younger guests and anyone not attending that block should arrange rides ahead of time so nobody is stuck at the gate.

Sunday pacing and Pet Day
